Ireta's
undergraduate work was in Art Education
and took place at four universities
(Oklahoma
State , Univ
of Md , Univ.
of Minn . and Wayne
State ). She has both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Instructional
Technology from Wayne State University. Ireta also
earned a certificate in Gerontology from WSU and has
become a Performance Improvement Technologist through
the International Society for Performance Improvement
(ISPI ).
Her varied career has included substitute teaching
in public schools, Instructional Design of patient
and staff training at a large hospital, director of
training within a human services agency, teaching at
the university level (Oakland
University , Wayne
State University , and Virginia
Tech University ) and now serves as the Instructional
Developer for FaCIT at Central Michigan University.
Ireta enjoys using her creative, diverse background
as she works with faculty to increase innovation in
the classroom.
Ireta's husband is an administrator
and Associate Professor at Wayne State
University. Her hobbies include reading,
spending time with family and friends
and camping. |
