Continuity One-Hour Conference has a keynote
and breakout sessions including Wimba,
Chipcast, and Blackboard. All of these
tools are effective ways to continue teaching
when traditional classes are not convenient,
due to illnesses, building closures, or
other emergencies.

- Wimba: (Dan Bracken) An overview of this online
collaboration suite, including a
virtual classrooms, featuring voice,
video, whiteboard and chat.
- Chipcast: (Phil Coffman)- Allows you to easily
create re-usable podcasts of classroom
lectures, software demonstrations, guest
speakers, and student presentations.
It also provides a way to easily publish
your podcasts to iTunes U for easy access
by your students.
- Blackboard: (Ireta
Ekstrom and Jeremy Bond) New ideas
for using CMU’s
hub for course content and communication.
