Students get stuck in a short-term memory mode,
cramming away as necessary, often leaving a course
(and their university experience) with little true
learning. Instead, how do teachers facilitate learning
in a long-term memory mode? Participants will investigate
2 frameworks and the specific practices (whether online
or face-to-face) that research shows to be productive
ways of encouraging long-term memory.
