Pleasant, Michigan. This conference is designed for educators concerned about creating the best possible learning environments for students. There is a great deal of evidence and experience related to student learning, and this event is designed to bring individuals together to learn from one another. Presenters will share knowledge and facilitate discussions. Participants will learn about the great work being done by others, both in sessions, and during more informal times, such as meals. * Come and learn about active learning strategies that work. * Find ways to make a lecture-based course more fun and educational. * Learn how to engage both traditional and adult learners in both face-to-face and hybrid courses. * Create meaningful research experiences that include students. * Identify effective methods to use volunteer activities in your course. * See model service-learning projects that really work. * Experience the energy of bringing together enthusiastic educators.
