Excellence in
Teaching
Central Michigan University

this tradition by setting high standards
in demanding competence of all its
members.
At the same time, however,

the Excellence in Teaching Award.

and five students

who teach a minimum of two-thirds

- A recipient will
not be eligible to receive another
award until seven years have
elapsed.
- All recommendation
forms will be considered confidential.
- After the first
three years, and then subsequently
every five years, the Excellence
in Teaching Award Committee will
present a review of the committee’s
actions to the Academic Senate
and will recommend any changes
in procedures, number of awards,
or award amounts. The Academic
Senate will act on this review
and consider if the awards merit
continuation, and if continuation
is accepted, whether modifications
of the award are necessary.
